Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release date in India
The hit anime series Jujutsu Kaisen has now officially been renewed for season 2 by Studio MAPPA and will return in 2023!
Jujutsu Kaisen was one of the biggest anime of 2021 and would eventually come away with Crunchyroll’s coveted Anime of the Year award following its conclusion in March of last year.
The official "super significant announcement" was made near the end of a Jujutsu Kaise 0 box office sales being a blockbuster hit.
Today, February 12th ,almost a year after the first broadcast ended, Jujutsu Kaisen was finally renewed for season 2 by MAPPA at a special production event in Japan.
Whilst fans are understandably over the moon with this announcement, not many members of the community would have been too surprised at the series’ return to television.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 is scoring an 8.7/10 on IMDB, 4.8/5 on Crunchyroll and 8.71/10 on MyAnimeList – with almost one million reviews, the series is currently sitting as the ranked 26th best anime of all time.
The series was also awarded the coveted ‘Anime of the Year’ award at the 2021 Crunchyroll Awards. According to CBR, the series was also the second most-talked-about TV show of 2021, only behind the Netflix Korean drama Squid Game.
The excellent news for fans of the series is that 174 chapters of the manga have been published so far in Japan; meaning that there’s potentially enough material for at least another two anime seasons.
